Please, add (sample) Drag'n'Drop support to Vintage Modular, so we can drag'em into the new sampler modules, please, please, please :hyper:
Actually, I think that's a fantastic idea. We'll try to get this added in the next release of VM.

Oh I found the Sample Drum module video I was talking about earlier. It’s on their Facebook page, and it’s groooovy!

It would be fantastic, if technically possible :tu:

I thought you meant they were making it for Voltage Modular, not hardware. It’s dope though but not VM.

Thank you, Dan!

Perhaps another option:
After selecting a sample, scroll through the samples from the folder in the module.

I still have a question for everyone. I understand that Orion no longer develops, but I like it because of its simplicity.

I have a problem. I can not leave only one stereo channel. It is necessary to freeze the tracks. Multi-channel tool cannot be frozen.

Maybe there is a bridge to resolve the issue? I tried DDMF Metaplugin and Image-Line Minihost Modular, but the same thing. It is impossible to leave one stereo channel.

Yeah, you don’t need anything. But, you’ll largely be limited to using vm as an effect, aside from being able to use some of them(psp) as oscillators if you can figure it out.

I am seriously considering it myself, actually. Quite likely, I will do just that.
Cool, thanks! It does look tempting, esp. considering that the PSP sale ends this month, while the CherryAudio $99 bundle is discounted until June, apparently. I'd love to hear any more thoughts from you (and anyone, of course) about getting the most from the PSP collection alone!

So, with only the PSP collection, it would be possible then to also add selected single modules from any other VM makers to that, I suppose…

But to access any of the "Core" VM tools, you need to get a CA bundle, too, it looks like.

Thanks again!
By the way, lots of third party resellers are on board selling the two different Ignite and Core+Drums bundles. You can get the big bundle from JRRShop for $88.

I was sharing it as something to aim for with sample based modules. It was pretty cool

David wrote: Sat Jan 26, 2019 6:13 pm Here's a feature I'd like to see: A hosting/shell module for VCV modules, doing whatever's needed to fully access any of these and allowing seamless interaction for it with the VM Universe.

Maybe this is already possible with some clever workarounds, or…?
Comments welcome!
I doubt this will ever happen as a direct custom made shell to host specific VCV modules but...
David wrote: Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:22 pm So now that VM can host vsts, does that include VCV?
...for now, we can at least use the VeeSeeVST Rack VST2 plugin fork which only includes a bunch of the open-sourced modules and not the commercial ones but it's better than nothing :)
I think this is the latest version: viewtopic.php?p=7208930#p7208930

...you can also host Softube Module Modular now... and KarmaFX and Reaktor and Tassman 4 and Kamioooka and ...uh... VCV-Bridge :clown:

I found a solution.

I remembered that I bought jBridge in 2009, and I received EnergyXT 2.5 Compact BEHRINGER edition a long time ago.

1. Bridge -> Voltage Modular -> Voltage Modular 32 bits.
2. Run Orion 32 bits.
Open EnergyXT vsti as instrument.
Open Voltage Modular in EnergyXT.

There is one stereo channel. Freeze is working.

Thank you, was starting to worry my question might never get a response:) Cool stuff!

The whole modular, of course (the "module" was a typo, sorry) :) since that's the VST being hosted by the plug-in hosting module(s) in VM.

Of course, just tempted to briefly believe in magic:) Thanks again, had forgotten all about KarmaFX! And Audulus, too…

Black interface. This happened after I entered the login and password. The download has started, and there is no more interface.

My favorite modular VSTi since day one. Works like a charm with touchscreens. Even multi-touch works as expacted. Pure fun!

Are there any plans for a more detailed sequencer-module?

And now we need some more advanced tutorials. :phones:
