When i see this video my first thought is "it will be lot of fun to build all this with my touchscreen !" .
I see that they made a big work to be the most touchscreen friendly device with this "Grid" !

I wish it was a priority when showing these demos that some cool or beautiful sounds were demonstrated...or at least something musical that someone would want to listen to. If one were to assume this is the best stuff that can be done in the grid (I doubt it is/hope it's not) one might conclude that the grid sucks. For any that feel the sounds in these demos are great please forgive my opinion...

They are showcasing the workflow on something that is not even in beta yet... sounds will come later.CRAFTMATIX wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 2:04 pm I wish it was a priority when showing these demos that some cool or beautiful sounds were demonstrated...or at least something musical that someone would want to listen to. A fine wish!CRAFTMATIX wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 5:31 pm Yes I am sure you are right...Again it was just me "wishing" it was a priority now.
My wish from the videos is that more people asked them questions.
For example, I would like confirmation that the Poly Grid is automatically MPE capable, that it can use per voice modulations and voice stacking like other Bitwig synths.

They did great and they introduced their product the way they wanted to. You are free to introduce your cool new modular platform that you have developed how you want to. Oh wait, you are just another bystander arrogantly telling the people who are making the cool shit what to do.Rivanni wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 6:32 pmStill, if you show your new product to the world for the first time, you should also show what it is capable of sound wise.pdxindy wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 4:41 pmThey are showcasing the workflow on something that is not even in beta yet... sounds will come later.CRAFTMATIX wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 2:04 pm I wish it was a priority when showing these demos that some cool or beautiful sounds were demonstrated...or at least something musical that someone would want to listen to. lol that was harsh pdxindy...But Rivanni said what I was saying for the most part. I love Bitwig Studio too. They make cool shit. And maybe it's arrogant to want them to have a great showing of their product even though I didn't make it. But from my point of view I just want them to do well. Be nice
. Wait that's arrogant. Would you please be nice? That is, if. you want too

Yeah, you are right... that was a little harsh. Sometimes I get annoyed with all the they should do this or they should do that comments. I've been on the other side of a big project and it is an endless criticism directed always at the people doing interesting things.CRAFTMATIX wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 7:33 pm lol that was harsh pdxindy...But Rivanni said what I was saying for the most part. Anyone know if there will be any developments in groove extraction and audio clip quantize in v3.
I really miss the Studio One feature set for this in Bitwig, and I hate how I need to slice an audio to be able to quantize it.

Oh did not think about this one. It would be so cool if possible though, I can only imagine the organic control one could achieve with custom created midifx.

I also really wonder if we'll be able to create custom interfaces for these setups much like u can in Reaktor. I know you can probably use the Macro page, but there are some things in there like steppers etc... that would need a representation on the macro level.
