not to start with... seems an obvious step down the road...donov wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 10:15 pm I also really wonder if we'll be able to create custom interfaces for these setups much like u can in Reaktor. I know you can probably use the Macro page, but there are some things in there like steppers etc... that would need a representation on the macro level.

No problem. I know your frustration. I'm always annoyed with people that say you can only critize something that you can do or make yourself. But those people make an exception when my critique is positive. Then they are fine with it.pdxindy wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 8:23 pmYeah, you are right... that was a little harsh. Sometimes I get annoyed with all the they should do this or they should do that comments. I've been on the other side of a big project and it is an endless criticism directed always at the people doing interesting things.CRAFTMATIX wrote: Tue Jan 29, 2019 7:33 pm lol that was harsh pdxindy...But Rivanni said what I was saying for the most part. I love Bitwig Studio too. They make cool shit. And maybe it's arrogant to want them to have a great showing of their product even though I didn't make it. But from my point of view I just want them to do well. Be nice. Wait that's arrogant. Would you please be nice? That is, if. you want too
.
Of course criticism is directed at people doing interesting things. They are noticed first. Getting tons of negative critiques isn't a bad thing. If you tjink it's false then do nothing, else change what you're doing. Even if it sounded harsh in the first place.
Bitwig had its fair share of critique and they changed things or are going to (or not). They also have a lot of love. That's why we're all here.

Hey,
I think this is a new one from Synth Anatomy on BWS 3.0 ... at least I don't recall seeing some of this. If someone already posted it, apologies.
Lot of good info.

So it sounds like some sort of audio feedback paths are possible... that is one of the main things I have been wondering about.

If I were to spend 199.00 to pair a tiny synth with Bitwig, my money would be on the Behringer Crave. Not so tiny though.Apheo wrote: Wed Jan 30, 2019 8:37 pm Im thinking about pairing the new Grid system with the upcoming KORG Volca Modular. Getting that analog into Bitwig.

The interesting point I got from this is that apparently, feedback loops are possible NOW, if you just put a tiny delay (or Time Shift?) in the path somewhere.gesslr wrote: Wed Jan 30, 2019 4:44 pm

I'm liking the form factor and MPE features of the new Joue.JHernandez wrote: Wed Jan 30, 2019 9:16 pmIf I were to spend 199.00 to pair a tiny synth with Bitwig, my money would be on the Behringer Crave. My first discovery was the Behringer Crave but after some time with comparing the 2 I have fallen in love with the volca modular. I like the Orange-Orange combo with the Crave-Bitwig tho.JHernandez wrote: Wed Jan 30, 2019 9:16 pmIf I were to spend 199.00 to pair a tiny synth with Bitwig, my money would be on the Behringer Crave.
