Hi folks

Anyone has success using Mmorph in Ableton Live (10) ? I checked the manual, no luck and strangely enough, Zynaptiq Morph 2 & GRM Tools Grinder work fine in Live when side chaining. For some reasons, I can't find a way to make Mmorph work with 2 audio signals, even when routing them correctly from sound A to sound B with the output tracks like I do with other side chaining plugins.

What am I doing wrong? Anything special to set inside Mmorph in the settings?

Thanks for the help

Nothing wrong here. Did you forget to select not only the "Audio to" settings but also the "Track in" dropdown? You can also check with the meters if there's a signal present at both inputs.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks! Yep, checked all that and still not working. But....

I found the problem though. I tried to test the VST version instead of the AU and it works! So it seems the issue is with the AU version of Mmorph. As this been reported & is it a known problem?

For sidechain in Ableton I recommend a Max for live plugin called Outist. Check it out

Ok thanks. The weird thing is that I don't have issues with any other of m yplugins that require side chaining, like I said Zynaptiq Morph 2, GRM Tools Grinder work perfectly fine so I'm wondering why Mmorph (AU) doesn't but VST can. Weird.

My guess is that you have enabled surround (click channel mode and untick Activate surround). It makes the plugins surround compatible and Live doesn't work with surround capable plugins properly... I reported it many times, but that's ableton...

Thanks for the reply Vojtech. Not sure to follow you here though, when you say 'click channel mode and untick Activate surround' I have no clue what you are talking about, in Mmorph plugin or in Live? Where is that?

Thanks again.

My pleasure. It's in MMorph (or any our plugins) - there's the channel mode button, by default "L+R". Click on it and the bottom item is "Activate surround". When disabled, the plugins report 2in2out or 2in2sidechain2out, but when enabled the plugins report 8in8out... and Live just doesn't know how to handle that  (like the last DAW out there probably...). So disable it (which is default, but it's possible that you accidentally enabled it at some point) and let Live rescan the plugins.

Thank you for the tips! I will try that as soon as I have the chance in the studio. Thanks again!
