Promise to Komplete buyers to get Massive X in Feb. then now delayed for FOUR months until June? And it's Native Instruments...probably the largest development team of any synth out there.

But wait..there's something good..
"When MASSIVE X arrives, we’re sure you’ll agree it’s been worth the wait. In the meantime, we’ll be releasing more details over the coming weeks, plus updates and inside info from the development team."

I cannot wait to get some sekrit inside info from the development team about the synth we have to wait 4 more months for.

No news. About 30 pages after info of pushing release date forward in few days. if you'll see that this topic have 100+ pages then you can assume that another news about Massive X was published

Well, they did offer a voucher via email for $25 to offset the lateness, that was a nice touch and probably more than I'd expect from any software developer. Being late is nothing unusual whether you are talking music software, database software or whatever. I'd rather companies take their time and do things right and not release a buggy mess if at all possible.

I would be kind of interested to know what scared them into the delay, and what they are doing over the four months. Some competition nipping at a heel or just shit project management at NI?

Yes, that a synthesizer release delay is even a thing to be noted is certainly firmly in the first world category.

But ya. The delay was announced kind of late, and its kind of long, and this is kind of a flagship project.
For a crew as big as NI, it just seems significant and I havent seen any rumor why it might have happened.
Did news of Z3 leark or something..?
