No, as previously stated by IK man, the pre-release discount pricing will end upon release.

February 21st, 2019 to save people clicking.
Thanks.
I really don't get why Peter couldn't just say the date.
Unless they expect it may change and the link will be updated without making him giving us incorrect info.

Oh, I thought that was only for buying and not for upgrading.

I got the pre-release upgrade price, plus had enough Jam Points in my IK account to also get the full Jam Point discount of another 30% off. Happy camper! :tu:

My upgrade price is currently the same as the sale price. I'd like to know: what will the difference be after the sale is over?

If I use sample tank 4 in reaper, can I put each instrument on each separate reaper tracks, and use my plug-ins, or must I use sample tank 4 plugins?

SampleTank supports multi-out audio. So while using one instance of ST you could route the audio output for each ST instrument to its own track in Reaper (or any DAW) for mixing in the DAW. You need to make settings in both ST and Reaper for this to happen. You can download the free SampleTank 3 CS now to test this out.

Once you have the virtual instrument audio in the DAW tracks you can do whatever you want with it.

That kind of sucks as I don't think I'm going to be able to get the upgrade cash together in time. :(

Is it just me??... I'm not really a fan of Jordan Rudess' playing. Sure he seems to be skilled and very competent, I'm just not a huge fan of his verbose style of playing.

Was that a controversial statement to make??

Post

No but it does make you sound jealous........ :hihi:

I am most definitely jealous of the skill he has worked to acquire. The only thing I don't like about his playing is the fact that it makes my playing sound like I've only got one finger on each hand....

But it's so refreshing to see someone like Mr. Rudess who has truly mastered their instrument in this day and age of loops and standing on stage while holding down one key and calling it "performing".....

Probably because Ik Marketing Media uses Skimlinks to monetize content. The actual link to the release date is: https://go.skimresources.com/?id=25446X ... h&bv=2.5.1

The link Peter posted here in the forum is https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?id=st4date , so where did you find that link?
If it's _your_ affiliate link then those are not allowed here.

Possibly KVR Forum is injecting the skimlink, although I cannot see it in my browser.

Edit: After looking at the page html I can see that KVR is indeed using skimlinks to monetize links going to commercial sites.
