Cheers. Looks interesting but why would he sell several Soundtoys bundles over more than a year’s time?

That IS suspicious. It's funny that the ad calls it a "one of a kind" deal since he's clearly made the deal more than a half dozen times.

It's certainly possible for him to have jumped on the “Pay What You Wish” month-long event Soundtoys had in December 2015 and bought a whole lot of Little Radiator, Little PrimalTap, Little MicroShift and Devil-Loc for a $1 each (and maybe a few of the extra freebies they've offered over the last few years)and upgraded to the bundle during an upgrade sale for around $70-$100. (I had gotten 3 plugins during the promotion and upgraded to the bundle for $135.00 in 2016).

Disclaimer: I'm not saying with 100% certainly that this is legitimate, but it is possible.

Post

That's a lot of trouble and risk for what would amount to (in your scenario) about $30 net profit per unit.

$4 for the little ones, $85+ to upgrade, +$25 ilok fee=$114 to purchase & transfer each one

It could be legitimate but it's certainly unusual.

On top of that, you have to send money using Western Union and not paypal.

Thanks for the suggestion guys :tu: , but actually I am qualified for academic bundle, so I could have snapped the bundle during black Friday for $147... But the problem is that I was stupid to buy two plugins already and I don't think selling them is gonna give me any money back (screw iLok fee btw). So I think I should go with the upgrade solution.

So I guess my question should be, say if I bought a little plugin for $10, will it results in deduction in upgrade price more than $10?

I don't have a clue but I bought it from him May 2018, I registered the seriel number, than downloaded everything from soundtoys and it works perfect. Since May there were 2-3 updates and all good. According to my experience the seller is 100% reliable. If you're not sure you could always ask directly the seller where he sourced all these legit serial numbers.

Well the listing says "PACE License Transfer fee included" but you say it's an unregistered serial. Why would the seller not list it as such? The whole thing seems suspicious if you ask me, working or not. Maybe the seller has a few boxed retail copies that fell off the back of a lorry or something.

So, I already own all the venomode plugins. If anyone wants maximal 2, they can have it for free.

It's a nice maximiser. :) Anyway, don't be a douche and try to sell it please.
I just thought someone might find it useful and I didn't want to waste the offer.

"To download your copy of Maximal 2, head over to https://venomode.com/register and register for an account (or login if you already have one).

In your user area, click the "Redeem Voucher" button and enter your unique voucher code:"

*Redeemed*

...If you take it, just post here saying as much, and I will remove the code. Thx...

When I wrote "registered seriel" I meant I gave him my iLok login ID name and than he transferred the sountoys bundle license. Sorry for the unclear phrasing, I just thought I don't have to go into any further detail. Anyway for me it doesn't matter who trusts this seller or who doesn't, I'm super happy with my bundle for the price, that's why I thought I mention this seller.

That's a huge red flag for me right there. Sure, the seller might be legit, but once your money leaves your account via Western Union, you will never see it again (if the goods don't arrive). At least with PayPal you have some recourse if things go wrong, and frankly, I'd rather pay a bit more and use PayPal than risk anything more than $1 with Western Union.

I bought mine from this reseller guy: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=488142
He lives in Cape Verde so as there is no paypal there, I had to transfer the money.
Paypal works in Cape Verde according to their site: https://www.paypal.com/tc/webapps/mpp/country-worldwide

He may not be scamming the buyers, but he may be scamming Soundtoys.

This starts to be a bit surreal :) No paypal doesn't fully work in Cape Verde, you can use paypal ONLY to send funds or to make online payments. In Cape Verde - region politics doesn't allow PayPal users to receive payments. Anyway this was my last response to this subject, originally I just wanted to help HHUANG9611. Again I don't care who trusts whom, I'm happy with what I bought from CVP, he came across during the buying process as a decent seller. Anyone interested buying soundtoys 5/having any questions about where and when he bought these licences please ask him.
