I do not see the vertical cursor when mousing over clips. Is there an option regarding this or a bug?
I see it in a couple Waveform 10 videos, so I know it's supposed to.
macOS 10.14.2, Retina screen (5k).

Is it really still not possible to have more than one plugin in the rack, which cause latency???
Here on my side, if I put in a second "latency plugin" plugin into the rack, pdc for the rack is set to "0" and everything falls apart timingwise...
Is there any workaround other than don´t use racks???

This has been mentioned recently:Trancit wrote: Sun Jan 27, 2019 9:35 am Is it really still not possible to have more than one plugin in the rack, which cause latency???

I think you've highlighted the current limitations of the PDC implementation in Waveform.
We do have a plan to improve upon all of these soon but this won't be until after the W10 launch I'm afraid.

I get that. Maybe a compromise of sorts would be to make the bars more visible all the way down the screen only while moving the markers, even if Loop is not currently enabled. Again, just a small thing.Stuttaton wrote: Thu Jan 24, 2019 12:06 pmThe colour of the bars surrounding the loop area is darker. Also, this plus the top marker is only visible when looping is active. So that's an improvement too.vitocorleone123 wrote: Wed Jan 23, 2019 11:23 pm The lines for the loop bars seems to have disappeared, so that there's no indication of what's looped without having to look up into that little area on the screen where the top of the loop bars are. I miss the old loop bars that made it super super simple to see at a glance where the loop is.
The problem with earlier versions is that the in- and out marker lines are hard to distinguish from the playback cursor line.
In the meantime, I went ahead and purchased the annual upgrade - even though it's still in beta.

I still have one bug from tracktion 7 in W10.
Midi clip suddenly starts playing out of tune, +7 semitones or so, without changing real place of the clip and notes. Sometimes don't. Sometimes I need to restart waveform or just close project and open it again, sometimes it doesn't help at all. But after a while works again as it should.

Soon hopefully! We're just tying up some final tweaks with the website etc.
The beta will be in existence until we release though so you should be able to transition smoothly without any gaps in usage.

Google found this in like 2 seconds when I searched for "x11 wm_class":dRowAudio wrote: Sat Jan 05, 2019 2:56 pm Do you know of the library call equivalent to set the WM_CLASS so we can do it in code?

I think I already looked at this but it involves deep access in to to the Display and Window classes that are abstracted away by JUCE. This makes it non-trivial to add.
In W10, I've added a work-around that doesn't require this library call.

Sadly not, no matter how often I click and log into tracktion, I am still in that gimped version were the audio message comes when I record sound after ... 30 secs ?dRowAudio wrote: Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:47 am Soon hopefully! We're just tying up some final tweaks with the website etc.

Are you sure? Brian fixed an issue relating to this a couple of days ago and everyone who was experiencing this problem has seen it resolved. Can you try again and see if it persists?

I'm getting a crash whenever I try to duplicate clips that are in an Edit Group.
Linux version?
