You can of course sell the unused redeem codes. The safer way, also for people who want to buy in the second hand market, is an actual license transfer.

We tried, we really did. We want to set up all of Zebras XY controls to act as macros for NKS, and we started a few projects (including the XY community project in our forum) to get there, but it turned out to be enormously difficult to get right. The strive continues, but it wasn't in time for this sale.

It's a one-off, just like the 2016 Diva sale was one, and the recent Hive sale. We'll do more customer surveys for sure (with coupon codes as rewards) and we'll keep doing intro offers.
I was just curious, since that no-sales-policy was once very important to you.
Not that I care much for Native Instruments or would have any use for NKS.
They seem to go the way of the Ableton* lately.

No worries. I can see no scenario where I'd enslave myself for any money in the world. There'll certainly be shareholders at some point, but that's a good thing to increase the longevity of the company when I get older. In regards of sales, they have become important for us, we use them in a corrective way, e.g. to rebuild our newsletter after the GDPR thing, or to keep Hive going while working out a proper upgrade strategy. But we won't do anything like this current sale regularly.
