Hiya ttoz,
I'm sorry to hear that
I guess Zebra is not the ultimate satisfaction for preset whores
(allthough I'm working on a good solution for that...)
However, transferring license is no prob. Just contact me privately when it happens. I had to do it one time before, so it isn't really the end of the world for me
Cheers,
Urs

Ah... yeah... okittoz wrote:it's just that the synths atmo/sound doesn't fit in with my work.
But maybe you can tell me what you're missing? - I highly appreciate such feedback. Sometimes it might even be easy to implement.
I'm evaluating the possibility to insert support for an online database, so that you can "search for/download new presets" and "upload preset/bank to database"ttoz wrote:i am curious though what preset solution you are talking about. can you spill more?
Yes, no prob. The license keys will be identical for all versions. Hey, but you better do not sell it before the Win version is out then... I'm still too deep into basic things to estimate a shipping date...ttoz wrote:will the new buyer be able to get into the pc version? that's the most important thing as 90% here are windowz only.
I disagree... the new workflow and instruments simply rawk...ttoz wrote:There is a world outside of Logic.

Maybe the fact that biomechanoid/symbiant did some/most of these patches has something to do with that possibly..?ttoz wrote: i'd found it quite industrial, and not lush..
Not sure exactly how much of them he actually did..

Hm... when saying 'lush', do you mean lush pads? Actually Zebra is quite good in this. I just guess that the presets guys (like me) got carried away with all these nice 'demolition' possibilites in Zebra...sicklecell666 wrote:i'd found it quite industrial, and not lush..

Hehehe... next time I will drink some tee and sing 'ommmmmmm' before doing presets. Hopefully this will result in more harmony...ttoz wrote: not just lush pads but a part of it. you did nail it perfectly though, by admitting the presets are demolition style![]()

Yeah - I've always looked at Zebra as being just about the warmest sounding softsynth out there, the filters are just amazing. It is easy to get caught up in some of the more bizarre things you can do with Zebra, but at the end of the day, if I'm looking for real analog style warmth, Zebra is the only synth I go for.

Urs, let me know if you ever need/want mirrors for this sort of thing (or just about anything else for that matter). I have a TON of server space available, and 5GB transfer/day, so it wouldn't burn into my bandwidth.Urs wrote:I'm evaluating the possibility to insert support for an online database, so that you can "search for/download new presets" and "upload preset/bank to database"Dunno if I manage to build that in before x-mas, but who knows...
