Sorry, I feel really a bit offended as a customer by this sale, uhe!

I happily bought about 50% of the products (mostly the pricey ones) in the bundle and now you can get the full bundle for just 279€ and I have not a single discount even when I already own 50% of it?

I could of course re-sell all my uhe plugins Diva, Repro and so on just get the bundle... but there should be a better way for us all. You got support for re-selling, I have selling work and feel disappointed.

Anyhow, I honestly hope that the sale will be great for you. Still like you but our customer relationship got a little scar.

Stuff goes on sale. Every consumer product is on sale at some point in its life. Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you aren't.

What a platitude. It's about having a reputation as a brand. It's hard to build, but easy to lose when you don't think about stuff like this. There are brands were I buy instantly because I trust that I get a value and there are brands were I only ever buy when they are on sale, because otherwise it's burned money.

I still consider uhe as a trusted brand it's not such a big deal here, but I don't play these businesses games anymore in the software world. It's crazy when you think about it. How do you feel when you currency is losing 50% of it's value suddenly? Yes it's different with software license, but not so different on a emotional level (don't nitpick, you know what I mean).

Urs has said this was only done because NI approached him and he would have neen a fool to turn NI down.

I'm not saying it's not annoying, it's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

How long have you owned them/it? You've enjoyed them in the meantime surely and they were worth the value then. So just because somebody benefits now why let it bother yoy

Feeling treated badly because of a single deal is extremely short-sighted, when good business decisions like this are beneficial for ALL customers in the long run. Due to a healthy company.

I'm not sure how two unhappy customers voicing their concerns changes anything about that.

Thing is, there's probably lots of people out there who own 4 of the products in the bundle and paid 350+ €. A cheap upgrade offer to the bundle would probably tempt me more than buying the bundle and selling 4 of the licenses on ebay...

License transfers are only allowed after 9 months I believe. Wouldn't work unless one of you was very, very patient and trusting.

No, NI gives you separate serials that you can just pass on free of charge. That's why the bundle is sold split up by some.

This is a NI deal. That's it. I understand it and I think it works.

The fact that you could buy the bundle and sell off the unneeded serials is just awesome. Whether you paid full price or got a deal, u-he is pure quality and worth every penny either way.

I bite on most of their pre-releases and everything gets used (which I cannot say for several other products I own from different companies). Enjoy this golden opportunity.

Folks got ticked at Orchestral Tools a few months back when something similar happened. I say, 'take what you can get or need and stop sweating the small stuff'. Really life is too short. Enjoy your products.
