they've done the $49 combo price a few times now recently. I remember trash 2 being $29 before, but I don't think I've seen Iris 2 less than $49 - I guess it's just izotope wringing out as much cash as they can out of them.

My understanding is that Iris 2, Breaktweaker, and Stutter Edit are all essentially abandoned. Izotope pretty much confirmed it after the release of Iris 2 when there were some bugs still around.

I'm not sure about Trash 2, but I'd be surprised if it ever gets an update.

Trash still kinda fits in with iZotope's brand though, a v3 would sit well aloongside the rest of their current product line. These sales suggest otherwise however.

Both Trash 2 and Iris 2 are great tools. It would be a shame to see them abandoned.
