If only the rest of the world thought this way!!

The high frequencies can be largely made up for by messing with the Oscillator harmonics or the Harmonic Filter, or by the use of distortion/harmonic saturation.

Over and out!
With the take over of Thorn by PA it is not guaranteed that the old versions will receive any further updates. Perhaps anybody using Thorn has to buy a new PA version now... :scared:

That price on PA site... is it April 1st already?

Post

I can't believe I need to pay for it. What for??

Post

Nice that my e-mail address was handed over to PA without asking me first. :tu:

Has anyone found info about what the v1.2 changes are? Would be pretty tacky to charge for bug fixes...

I got the same email even though I don't own Thorn v1. I do subscribe to PA, as I have bought several things there in the past.

very fishy the process, even if Dimitry got a nice deal this is not correct to hand over infos to another company automatically and also sellout users without notice before etc. bad move and good to know!
it might not even be legal with personal info sharing!

Again here. How can you know that it's discontinued on his page?
Wait for a statement or ask him.

I'm hoping there's some substantial changes in there... they sure make it sound like it's a 2.0, which I find hard to believe. The fact that there's no info on the "update" anywhere smells of fish, fish that hasn't seen the ocean in a loooong while.

they should have learned from the camel fiasco. there should have been an email sent out weeks ago. still no statement from DS?! people rely on these things. do I HAVE to "upgrade" to the PA version? i see thorn is no longer for sale through DS site. so, am i now obligated to buy into PA? can someone answer this? i hope DS got paid well from this move.

C'mon, they PA and Dmitry) for weeks or even months this move.
Why are there no statements about all these questions?
Very unprofessional!
