Urs has said this was only done because NI approached him and he would have neen a fool to turn NI down.
Hmm. It could have been worse.

I mean, Apple - who haven't really f**ked up anyone else's shit majorly in weeks now, could have approached him to take the whole shebang inside the 9th circle of whatever out there on the Infinite Loop. The incentive being enough folding stuff to keep the whole shop in Margaritas till doomsday.

This deal got me Diva, at last.
She’s so smooth, and I love smooth.
Didn’t keep Repro though, less my taste.
Pondering whether to keep Presswerk and Satin, as I have most of Slate.
Anyway, thanks for the NI deal, Urs.
You drew me back into your world.

Question: I bought the bundle, but already own Repro. I'm planning to give the extra Repro to a friend for Christmas (2019). Should I...
A) Register the second Repro to my account, hold it there, then transfer it to him in December?
B) Hang onto the registration code that I got from NI, then give that and let him register it himself?

Is one method safer? Option B is easier, but will the registration code expire?

This is a limited time offer and a collaboration between two Berlin-based companies. NI has a HUGE userbase and as Urs stated they even produced marketing material and put severe manpower and funds into that campaign. It's not too hard to see that this is an offer U-He had to accept. NI has done sales like this with various other companies that support NKS in their products. Imho their long term goal is to force other keyboard manufacturers to license NKS at some point, but that's a story for another day...

I happily bought about 50% of the products in the bundle (only the pricey ones) and now you can get the full bundle for just 279€ and I have not a single discount even when I already own 50% of it?

I could of course re-sell all my uhe plugins Diva, Repro and so on just get the bundle... but there should be a better way for us all. You got support for re-selling, I have selling work and feel disappointed. :?

Anyhow, I honestly hope that the sale will be great for you. Still like you but our customer relationship got a little scar.
selling redemption codes is easier than transferring licenses

Registration codes don't expire

Is there a official position of selling individual plugins from the bundle? Does there stay some registration leftovers or something in your NI account?

I just need two plugins from the bundle and consider to buy the bundle and sell the rest for cheep at the moment. Or wait some time and get these plugins when other people sell them for cheep.

yeah urs said that it's allowed.

It's more like, nothing we can do about. Whether it's allowed or not might be subject to NI's terms, I have no idea. We surely did not expect people to share bundle discounts.

I'd prefer people did proper license transfers, simply because I don't want to deal with people who get scammed - and we can do nothing about it. Maybe it doesn't happen, but selling redeem codes twice is exactly the thing where we can not be of any assistance.

OTOH we're drowning in support issues and half of the support people are in bed with flu. Hence, fewer license transfers are indeed welcome.

Dang, and 9 days of the craze remaining. Hope it's worth it for you in the long run.

For a copy of Colour Copy I'll do support for you for a morning. It's easy :D

Personally I am relatively set with Delay and Reverb.
Nice bundle!
Repro and Diva are awesome.

I have licenses for Diva & Repro, but want to get the FX so I’m looking to get the bundle.

If you are in the UK and you want Diva & Repro - PM me and I can send the registration codes for both for £119 – saving £20 on the NI offer. I’ll probably sell Twangstrom for £29 too as I don’t really have a need for it.

I don’t want to Hi-jack this thread, so PM only, and I’ll edit this post if sold.

Edit: All items sold"

:D

i'm keeping twangstrom... every now and then i find a need for a spring reverb, and convolutions are terrible
