What's about the scratch drumset shown below ? How to get this going ? There are some notes there but no sound. How to use this mysterious drumset ?

Any 'Drumset' in that right click list is just a ballpark/starting point group of Drumtypes...no specific samples are implied or chosen. You can of course make your own group of tracks with whatever Drumtypes you want. The Scratch drumset is just another group of Drumtypes. Go back to the Drumset Editor. Clear any Drumtypes you have in the Drumlist (use the trash button). Now with the + button load Bassdrum 1...see that no sample is assigned to it yet. Normally you would load a kick sample but see that you can load any sample you want. Now with the + button load Drumtype Scratch 1....you can assign any sample to it, maybe something weird. Think of the Scratch drumset as just a starting point for creating a loop that will eventually have some unusual sounds. And the notes that appear in your jpg are just part of the Rhythm you already had loaded, they have nothing to do with the Scratch drumset in itself.. you can load any of those right click 'Drumsets' with no Rhythm loaded at all.

Thanks. This opens up a whole new dimension. The 'Music' items suggestions seems to point to the loading of lengthy samples. Are there any examples out there of MDrummer used in such a distant way from normal drumming ?

The scratches, music etc. are just some kind of specific drum types, for those, who need some specific sounds on top of the classic drums/percussion. There's nothing really special about it, but you need to edit them yourself.
