OK, good - these are a masterclass in sound design, some of the best-crafted patches I've come across - considering the simplicity of the synth itself they are very diverse.

I need to find out if she's OK with me posting NKS versions (and also how to atribute her under "Author')

Thanks for the heads up on those. Never downloaded them, but just checked them out and great stuff. There are modulation assignments in some of these patches that just don't seem possible to create from the Tyrell front-end. For instance: a few patches have VCA1 Pan as a modulation target but I don't see that option available in the list of targets. Any ideas how that's being done? Did a prior version expose more modulation targets?

haha yeah it's a super secrit hidden param known only to those few people who read the manual (or read about it on the beta forum)

'Unison voices, by default, do not have stereo spread. However, there is a hidden parameter
that can control it. It’s called VCA1: Pan. The easiest way to find it is to scroll through the
presets that come with Tyrell and find one that has this parameter chosen in one of the
modulation target slots of the Matrix section (e.g. TUC – Chemtrails). Now, reset every
parameter of the synth (double-click) except for that particular modulation slot. What you’ll
end up with is an initialized preset with the VCA1: Pan parameter available in the Matrix
section. You can even save that state of the synth as a preset for future use.'

I used it myself too in some of my bank patches (some of which I made while it was still in beta)

What I don't get - maybe someone can help me here - is why some patches sound like they have reverb (eg Bellspace) but there is no reverb in this synth (only chorus and that is off)?

For anyone with NI Komplete Kontrol there is a workaround in that the Tyrell Factory library (and also my own small T6 bank) are converted to NKS, which adds the same sort of organisation and tagging etc the u-he browsers do (with the added advantages of mapped hardware controls, accessibility from the NI Keyboards/Maschine and audio previews)

It would not be too difficult to get some other banks converted too if there's demand

I am a NI Maschine user and I really appreciate your work very much! As I am new to adding presets manually to my NKS library, can you explain me what to do with the folders.

I'm just finalising all the additional banks (Howie etc) included in the release version plus the Mr Wobble bank and all The Unfinished banks are also now converted (the latter with Matt to post himself when he has time)

OK the Mr Wobble bank is now converted to NKS with audio previews. I saved and tagged each patch to NKS myself in Komplete Kontrol using my own controller template but the audio previews were generated by a NI forum friend (Christos Adamos) using PresetMagician.

Hello. Those presets were made with the original version of Tyrell. Later versions got a better stacked voice detune law. As a result, a few presets don't sound as intended (any with stacked voices).

tl;dr any presets that sound duff can safely be blamed on the update

And now the rest of the factory content is uploaded too - all the misc banks by Howie, Tas etc, all with tags and previews and merged into a consistent bank/sub bank structure.

It's not "definitely dead", but we cannot afford to divert any development time into it any time soon. That's not about money, it is about the time it consumes.

Could re release a new version updated on there mag and website and let you guys feature it on yours , i mean it can only be a good thing people play with this then they buy diva or zebra later on

Were you able to get this working with WineBottler? I am not having any luck. If you were, could ytou please post a screenshot of the settings you selected on the WineBottller setup screen?
