I finally got around to doing a video from MDoubletracker. I didn't go super indepth in the video, but I wanted to at least show some sound examples. This is really the type of plugin that just sounds good right out of the box and sometimes just slapping it on a guitar, vocal, or keyboard and really give things the perfect sound. The extras are nice though, especially if you want to keep things subtle. Anyway I hope you enjoy the video.

It kind of begs for a question though. What's its place on technical ground amongst MStereoExpander, MStereoGenerator, MStereoProcessor, MStereoSpread and MAutoStereoFix ?

mdoubletrack sound very good, only i wish change is in long notes can hear in this video too, that the guitar pan slowly with 0.3 hz or so between left and right. this i get with all my experiments too. have you a idea how can this avoid ?. i see no lfo speed or so

Thanks for the video, Chandler. Quick question: are there some little sound errors / drops? Or is it me? :S

Regarding MDoubleTracker vs. MStereo... : I think that MDoubleTracker does detuning as well. The MStereo... plugins do not ddo this, right? To me the MDoubleTracker brings some VERY quick and nice results. I like it.

The moving from left to right has to do with the variation in pitch/delay. Try changing the delay, detune and depth parameters. I don't know if you can elimnate it, but you can change how it sounds.

Yes, unfortunately there are some small glitches in the audio. This isn't the plugin, it my recording software. I've been looking for ways to fix it without lowering the video quality. I might have to bite the bullet and get a new computer this year.

MDoubletracker has pitch detune, so its a bit different from the other stereo plugins. It isn't always mono compatible, but it sounds good. It has a sound that is now classic and sounds great.
