Hive, Diva and RePro are solid for MPE support
Bazille and ACE less so because they do not yet have the latest additions of +/- 48 Pitchbend and Y axis timbre... so depends on the DAW
Zebra not at all... Zebra 3 will though

yeah, but it is not voice per channel... so you would have to use multiple instances

yeah, sorry... the voice handling code in Z2 predates MPE by a decade. I just don't think we can mess with it to make it compatible.

Can I get a quick rundown on how to set up MPE with Hive? I tried to use the Wavetable position and 16 channels in the midi set up page, but it didn't work per voice. Is it just position that won't do that? Do I really have to set up 16 channels manually for whatever I want to modulate? Thanks for any pointers!

Well, I meant on the Hive side, but I use Cubase and Bitwig on a Rise 49.pdxindy wrote: Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:14 pmit depends on what MPE controller and what DAW you are using...Home Studio 87 wrote: Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:06 pmI would like to know too.. a basic MPE setup for uhe synths...D Halgren wrote: Fri Feb 15, 2019 3:54 pm Can I get a quick rundown on how to set up MPE with Hive? AFAIK you don't need to set up all 16 MIDI channels in the plugin's MIDI table page, but rather send omni from your DAW to the plugin. Just set the Controller A in MIDI table page to CC 74 and use that in the mod matrix when modulating stuff. It works fine over here. Of course, in ROLI Dashboard set it to MPE preset, but that's a given.

Same thing. I just tried it with my Rise 49 in Reaper, all works. MPE mode on Rise with Timbre set to CC #74 (default), same CC used as Control A in Hive, MIDI input from DAW set to omni (send all channels from the device). Bingo.

The presets use Control A more than B, so it would be better to set B to MIDI CC 74 instead of A.
