If I upgrade to W9 today, will I get a free upgrade to W10 in Feb/March ?
( I own an earlier version and I have a $59 option on upgrading to W9)

Dear Tracktion reps,

I have basically the same question: if I purchase the v9 now, do I get w10 for free when it comes out in a few weeks?

(Seems to be the timing suggested in this forum)

Yes, any W9 purchases after January 22nd will be automatically converted to W10 free

I bought ver 9 on Jan 26th. How do I go about getting ver 10?

You guys should really inform at least existing customers of your plans.
I never got any emails or saw on your site that 10 was coming.
I own all ur products, and just updated to 9 December 27th.....I would have waited had I known 10 was coming in February.
I understand your trying to make money and take advantage of the holiday psychology to bring in new customers, but having to make folks like me pay to upgrade again so soon feels disingenuous.

If you feel bummed out, ping our support team and they will hook you up. We actually have a very flexible upgrade policy - firstly, we release a major update every year - but you can upgrade directly to the most current version for anywhere up to 3 years - so you could go directly from V9 to V12 for the same upgrade price - you choose (unlike the globally hated subscription models - that are better for the company!)

You can wait till December to get version 10 if you wish.

Just so you know, version 4-10 have been officially announced at NAMM each year in late January and been released in the February/March, usually. Most existing customers know this.
