Stereo tools : a comprehensive guide ?

I'm a bit lost as to whether which stereo tool can be best used in which context, for what basic reason/purpose. A guide that would cover all Melda stereo tools would be great. By 'comprehensive' I mean that for each tool at least one example would be given.

That's impossible I'm afraid, it depends on the context, genre, the actual audio etc... Personally I don't use MStereoGenerator much, it's more like for acoustic music. MStereoSpread and the new MDoubleTracker are for making things sound big and close. And MStereoProcessor isn't about making stereo, but managing stereo, mainly for mastering.

I would disagree. Everything depends on context then. Let's not have any compressor guides and tutorials. EQ ? Forget it. Etc, etc. For instance your comment about MStereoGenerator is interesting. It's much for acoustic music. Ah. And why is that ? So on so forth. I'm certain there's enough to tell and demonstrate about the stereo tools to fill a 20 minutes video.

BTW, the DoubleTracker is great.

Just saying, would it also be possible to use another type of background music than one from a walmart ? Don't know, something more creative, inspiring.
