First: Thanks for Waveform10

Something has gotten me twice in a row now (upgrade to W9 as well), in that - and maybe it's because I use the Beta - the custom plugin list is outdated and I can't figure out how to make it right. With Waveform10 I also cannot run it simultaneously with Waveform9 for some reason, so I can't do a visual comparison. But, for a long time, I've thought it would be nice to be able to export the custom plugin list as both a backup and as a way to move between Waveform versions if there's any issues.

What do you mean by "the custom plugin list is outdated"?
This shouldn't have changed between W versions so should simply load from your W9 settings in the same way.

We don't have have a nice UI but if you really want to backup the menu you can take a look in the "Waveform.settings" file (it's XML so open it in a text editor) and copy the "customPluginMenu" item to another file.
You can then paste this in to another settings file. If you do this however, make sure Waveform is closed first.

Oh! The file copy/paste alone will do the trick without spending time adding any GUI. Thanks for the tip.

Installing the beta of W10 did, indeed, load the custom plugin list from W9, but at that point it was static and independent. I made further changes (Spring cleaning?) to the plugins list in W9 and, even though I'd uninstalled the W10 beta in anticipation of the final release - in part to see if it "fixed" this - installing the W10 final simply loaded the old custom plugins list that had been in the beta rather than checking for any deltas or just grabbing the latest version.

Just what I wanted too. Thank you!
