Not modern, but I'm using a frontier design Tranzport. It doesn't have a fader, but transport control and mute / solo track select etc, all work as they should.
No setting up was required other than installing driver, and selecting it in Waveforms control surfaces.
Unfortunately no longer supported.
I'm on Win 8.1 not sure if you could get drivers to work in Windows 10

I'm on OSX Mojave so no chance with any Frontier Design stuff
*edit* I used to have a Alphatrack that worked great with Tracktion way back when. However, I sold that ages ago and despite finding an updated driver provided by Synclavier(!) which may or may not work in the future, I decided it's not worth it.
However, I did notice that the Behringer X-Touch One works with Waveform. It even has an overlay for it. I'm investigating further.

I'm glad you posted you are still using a Tranzport. We were discussing a few weeks ago if we should remove support since the products are no longer available. But if they still work and you're still using it, we will leave it in.

Could you add support for the Faderport v2 - even if it's in MCU mode? It doesn't seem to work currently.FigBug wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 3:11 pm I'm glad you posted you are still using a Tranzport. May or may not be of interest, but out of curiosity I installed the drivers for my frontier design Tranzport, on my Win 10 internet computer using compatibility mode, Vista service pack 2! Option.
Showed up in Waveform 10 & 9
and seems to be working as it should.
Tried Win8 option first, but that came up with error message, can't install on this operating system.
I'm sure I'm on the latest Windows 10 build.

Did you have to disable SIP to get it to work? Or did it just install without any workarounds?netsvetaev wrote: Wed Feb 20, 2019 12:22 ambtw synclavier driver still works great on mojave.auricle wrote: Tue Feb 19, 2019 3:05 pm I'm on OSX Mojave so no chance with any Frontier Design stuff

Does anyone use any of the other X-Touch controllers?

I am using an X-Touch. The button's labels don't match up correctly with their actual commands in WF. I made this image to try to keep track of what they should do according to a template I found for using MCU with tracktion.
