Recently noticed from using VST 3 that after I start changing out MSEGs that my entire sound goes into a random way out of tune mode.
This happens after trying new MSEGs.
This sounds silly but is there a way to not have MSEGs in use unless as a modulator in the GUI?
It’s not a deal breaker as I’m quite happy in earlier versions of 2 and HZ.

I'm not quite sure I understand what's going on... if MSEGs are used to control oscillator pitch etc., it's quite expected that flipping through MSEG presets will alter tuning... or am I missing something?

Yeah that's quite expected, if you change a MSEG preset, it will change how it modulates things, and if it was assigned to do pitch modulation, that's what you get. Doesn't matter if it's Z2 or ZHZ or VST2 or VST3 or whatever.

Please don’t ban me.
I’ve been programming to get ready with a new PC.
Obviously spent too much time in my dungeon.
I forgot I even posted this.
I’ll hide for a while.

Just to make sure though, unless the MSEG is used in the Matrix or on Oscillator Tune, or any other Modulation slot, it shouldn’t be heard then right?
That’s what envelope 1 is for.

Well you can assign MSEG to any modulatable parameter. If it's assigned to the lane volume or filter cutoff, of course you'd hear it. It's just like any other modulator.

Right.
But if they’re unassigned it’s not in use right?
Seems before I double checked I assigned a random Pitched MSEG into 5 patches so each patch had me tripping.
Thanks EvDr

Of course, if it's not assigned anywhere in the patch then it does nothing.

Thanks Evil D.
I copied over 1 MSEG to 4 patches by accident, that’s why I was tripping.
Especially after re installing 2.5.
Man this synth sounds big and Fat through my RCF TT08As.
