Does anyone have a channel strip plugin that they can recommend for use with Waveform? I've been using Metric Halo's, but it is incompatible with later versions of Tracktion. Metric Halo has no plans to fix the problem, so I'm stuck on Waveform 8.

I like Waves Scheps Omni Channel, in Waveform 10 version VST3 works well. VST2 has graphic errors.

MH ChannelStrip seems to be working fine for me in W10, the VST2 version on the Mac.

Waves has the TG12345 on sale right now if you can get past the somewhat curious way you need to "grab" the knobs to turn them: https://www.waves.com/plugins/emi-tg12345

The bx_console plugins on Plugin Alliance are excellent if a bit pricy; the "pickpack" they offer can help with that a bit depending on your needs.

Waveform's own Master Mix is light weight, and contrary to it's name, can be used effectively on many channels as a channel strip.

Thanks guys, I'll check these out. I'm on Windows 10. Sounds like the MH incompatibility is Windows-specific.

For relatively inexpensive, check out CS3301 by TBProaudio or one of the Satson consoles by Sonimus. In fact, as I write this, the Satson CS is on sale as are a few others there. On the high end, there's things like Plugin Alliance SSL 4000G.

Thanks to everyone for the tips. I ended up buying Wave Arts TrackPlug 5 from another KVR user. I haven't thoroughly dug into it yet, but I like the UI layout and feature set so far. No crashes yet with Waveform 9.

Looks like you found a solution, but for those still searching...
