In Bitwig there is no state for a playing scene.kmatm wrote: Wed Feb 27, 2019 10:44 am I just realised that when using the Launchpad to select scenes, the selected scene only remains highlighted green while waiting for the next bar to start. Once that scene has started playing, it is no longer highlighted. This means if you look away, it's really easy to forget which scene you have playing.
Is this by design, or something that can be set somewhere?

Hello, moss wrote: Sat Feb 23, 2019 10:10 amThat sounds like the Shift button is somehow stuck?! Your step 4+5 is toggling through the sequencer modes, which are accessed with Shift+Note (when the grid is off you are on the Drum 4 and 8 modes), are the mode names displayed in Bitwig? Can you reset your device, maybe some global settings a screwend up?!Slipgate wrote: Fri Feb 22, 2019 3:41 pm Hi,
I am having some issues with my new Launchpad Pro.
1. I've got the scrips installed.
2. Bitwig detects everything.
3. I press session view and that works fine.
4. I press Note and I get a strip of orange at the bottom, no lights, white strip, no lights, 2 white strips.
5. I press Note again and nothing happens.
6. I press Device and all lights turn off, I can press the top pads and the columns lights up different colours.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Slipgate did you get this working?
I am experiencing the same issue. I got a LaunchPad Pro a few days ago and updated the firmware from the Novation site. All functions work great except when the Note button is pressed it will only go into Sequencer mode, I cannot get it to go into Play or Drum mode.
Thanks!

No I never got it working mate.
Same issue - do all the lights turn off when you press Device or the Pan/Sends button as well?
If I select the next track in Bitwig everything seems to reset back.
I am wondering if its the new firmware.

Pressing the device button brings up multi-colored bars that control the device knobs if there's a device in the chain so that seems to be working just fine.
When pressing the sends button all the lights turn off.
Each track starts out in scale mode but once I press the Note button it goes into Sequencer mode and there's no getting out of it.

Uploading to a Launchpad Pro
To upload it to your Launchpad Pro. I recommend Sysex Librarian on macOS, and MIDI OX on Windows. On Linux, I'll bet you already have a tool in mind.
Unplug your Launchpad Pro
Hold the "Setup" button down while connecting it to your host via USB (ensure it's connected to the host, and not to a virtual machine!)
The unit will start up in "bootloader" mode
Send your launchpad_pro.syx file to the device MIDI port - it will briefly scroll "upgrading..." across the grid.
Wait for the update to complete, and for the device to reboot!
