Microtonic freezes Waveform 10

Hi,

I tried this morning with an empty Waveform project, I added only Microtonic AU version and an empty midi clip in Microtonic track.

Result, as you can see on the video, the morph slider is stutered and Waveform is frozen for +/- 10 s, after it starts to move again. That's unusable.
Note : Microtonic works fine on Reaper.

Have you run the validation tool against that plugin?

I have tried this in my Windows10 machine and it works fine.
Maybe something unique to the apple version?

No problems with the AU in Logic or Ableton Live. As you have no issues with Reaper either, I would assume this is a Waveform problem?

Have you tried the VST version on the Mac?

Have you run the validation tool against that plugin (from the Plugins area in Settings) to see where that is failing?

Both VST au AU are successfully validated.

I noticed the VST morph slider is less stuttered that the AU version but not as fluent as in Reaper or other Daws (Logic, Studio one)

No, I don't have Waveform.

It seems to work fine on my machine.

Usually very long pauses like this are due to disk spin-ups. Do you have any external hard drives plugged in? Doe removing them help the problem?
One other thing to try is to disable the "Take Control of Blocks" option on the "MIDI Devices" settings page.
