When you mute a clip, it turns grey.
But tracks do not, so when you have hidden the right hand panel, because you use the mixer instead, you can't see which tracks are muted (unless you display the mixer or the actions panel).
Wouldn't it make sense if muted tracks are greyed, just like clips, so you see at a glance, which are muted?
And if you solo a track, all other tracks could be greyed.

agreed... except I would dim the tracks less because of something else being soloed than because of the track itself being muted - could actually have three levels of dimming:
Very dim - the track itself is muted
Dim - the track is inside a folder that is muted
Slightly dim - the track is not soloed but something else is
EDIT: I suppose that should be"desaturated" rather than "dimmed"

That would be nice. Similar to the way frozen tracks are grayed out.
