I find the amount of abuse quite low, tolerable. You guys are too sensitive, it's not hard to just ignore them.

But its steadily increasing. Just like spam was, way back when something was first implemented to deal with that. (and FWIW, I suggested that, too)

And isnt what you're seeing already the result of a certain amount of work the mods have been doing, eg in getting the serial 'here's my next YT vid kthxbye' stuff into single threads and such?

It's also happening elsewhere, so it's not going to be so easy to ignore it when to some people it's becoming an acceptable way of 'participating' in forums.
