I see that you can get Ozone Advanced 8 + Neutron Advanced 8 for $350 total (even less at JRR) in the ON8 bundle or whatever it's called. If I hadn't just bought the Fabfilter Mastering bundle I'd be all over this one... but there'd be so much overlap it would be a waste of money.

Is that an exceptionally good deal? Very tempted to get this...

If you already own any advance iZotope products, then you can get a better deal with Music Production Suite 2 at $299 which includes both Advanced products among other things. (If you check out JRRShop, you can get the crossgrade suite for $251.16 with the "group" discount code)

I almost upgraded my license of Ozone 6 to 8, until I realized it is upgrade year for that software probably October or November if the past few whole version history stands. Which means if you upgrade now, you'll have to turn around and pay for another upgrade in 6 months time if you want the latest version 9 by then.

And they usually have intro pricing to some degree.. I'd rather just wait and get the next cycle since they only come every other year.

Judging from their audio demos, it seems like nifty little toolboxes for mashing up some loops either to get started or filling a gap in your track ... Nothing groundbreaking but that low price you can't go wrong really, imo.

As an owner of Izotope Ozone standard and neutron standard I didn't find the upgrades prices that great - I ended up buying the bundle of the two standard products and then trying to sell off the now redundant older versions.

To be fair, that version of the bundle had less than the current version. RX was the biggest thing that got added.
