I've been testing the melody generator in Waveform and keep getting the notes erased after performing various actions. Even when I click Auto Update, the notes are going away.
Has this issue been fixed? Is there something I can do to keep it from happening?

After performing which "various actions"?
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

The melody generator is a bit pointless, in my opinion. It's better to enter notes in an ordinary midi clip and use the colour mode where chord notes, scale notes etc have different colours. Then you see from the colours which notes are most likely to sound good.

For instance, changing note length in the menu; clicking on Auto Update.
Wipes all notes out.

To have different colored scale and chord notes in a clip -- is that a feature I missed somewhere?

Just select the four colour patch as the note colour for all your notes.

Ok, do it manually. I get it but, that kind of defeats the purpose of the Generator. I guess one could always just copy the generated chords into a regular clip and copy-ghost note those notes in and create a melody overtop of those notes (though I still don't have the scale).
