Fruity rewire problems

hello. I have had a problem when using FL studio as both rewire and VST as this: When I try to drag a drum sample from the FL browser to the drum machine it seems that as soon as the preview sound of the drum sound plays that the screen freezes and there is nothing to do but reboot when that happens, and it happens every time.Ive used FL studio as DXI in cakewalk and it worked all right. Also this is probably an easy one but can I play FL studio when it is a plugin from the FL studio editor without having to close it and use traction to play it? Thanks for any Help.

I have that too. Thought it was a FL-studio bug, but you say it doesn't happen in Cakewalk(?) That would mean it's Tracktion-related and in that case it needs a bug-fix. Don't know for sure though if it's Tracktion's fault.

I thought this might be a real-time priority mode "thing", but after trying the method described above, I encounter no problems at all. No freezes.
