Strange behavior in Knagalis demo

I've read the manual and played w/ the demo and I am getting very strange behavior on the Darbari Kanada, Clean Sitar and Perfect Sitar patches (maybe others too, haven't tried them all).

With Mono Mode set to Retrigger, when I release a key on my midi keyboard a pitch sounds (not the one triggered by the note-on). I've tried turning the Release Tone section off and turning the left control (the unlabeled one) in the Release section all the way counter-clockwise, but the behavior persists.

The problem is intermittent. I can be playing for a while and it's fine, then notes start triggering when I release keys.

Any help appreciated.

I can't reproduce that here,
maybe EMM is not 100% compatible with the MIDI message from your keyboard, it would be very helpfull
if you can sibmit a short MIDI file with a line recorded with your keyboard, without any MIDI filter,

so I could check which message causes that wrong pitch and filter it in EMM,
