Does anybody know if Cubase ever had any functionality that was not also included in Nuendo?

Think T+S is not reselling Heavyocity anymoredzilizzi wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 3:45 pmthe 2 usual ones that carry Heavyocity don't have the sale (Best Service/Time+Space) and not showing up at plugin boutique either. So I'm guessing it is a Heavyocity only sale.bharris22 wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 2:27 pm Does anyone know how long the sale on Heavyocity Scoring Guitars 2 will last? Is it just for today (3/13)? In addition, is this on sale anywhere else, too? Thanks!
Edit - according to the Heavyocity website it looks like the sale will end on 3/18. Still wondering if anyone knows whether other sites are offering the sale for even less, though.

Hmm. Could have sworn I saw it there over the holidays. But maybe PB is their UK reseller now?UnbalancedBeats wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:48 pmThink T+S is not reselling Heavyocity anymoredzilizzi wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 3:45 pmthe 2 usual ones that carry Heavyocity don't have the sale (Best Service/Time+Space) and not showing up at plugin boutique either. I wonder if you buy the crossgrade, if you still can keep using Cubase until you actually register Nuendo. I would think so. Buy and wait for the new version to be officially announced to register and get it for free.mgw38 wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:24 pmAnd, apparently, Nuendo 10 is around the corner.dzilizzi wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:05 pmI'm guessing the upgrades cost a lot more every year. I don't do video, but I'm guessing that would be the main reason to get Nuendo?

I asked on the Steinberg forum and somebody from Steinberg confirmed that if you buy or cross grade now you will qualify for a free upgrade to Nuendo 10.dzilizzi wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 5:27 pmI wonder if you buy the crossgrade, if you still can keep using Cubase until you actually register Nuendo. I'm mainly interested in the VR and game audio workflows. In particular the integration with Wwise.

Same here. I think I will just bite the bullet and buy from Heavyocity directly - seems like a very good deal.

But Nuendo is only at 8 now? Did you guys mean 9, or are they skipping 9 like Microsoft and apple?mgw38 wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 6:32 pmI asked on the Steinberg forum and somebody from Steinberg confirmed that if you buy or cross grade now you will qualify for a free upgrade to Nuendo 10.dzilizzi wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 5:27 pmI wonder if you buy the crossgrade, if you still can keep using Cubase until you actually register Nuendo. They are skipping 9. Probably to line it up with the Cubase numbers.

Call me stupid, but does anyone know where the difference between T-RackS CS Deluxe and the normal T-RackS CS is?
To use stuff markes with CS, you have to use jam point, correct? Or is there some stuff free to use in the deluxe?
Thanks!

This discount combines with their normal "bundle" discount : 15% off 3 plugins, 20% off of 4, and 25% off of 5 plugins. I just used it.Vortifex wrote: Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:05 am Goodhertz plugins are all 31.4% off for another 33 hours or so to celebrate 'Pi Day'.
