Tried Tracktion Demo/ Crashes at Startup

I have a PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.3.5. I downloaded the Tracktion demo and installed it in my applications folder like it dictates, but when I launch the pogram I can see it scanning my pluggins and then it just quits. I also had this problem with Cubase LE. I have DP4, Pro Tools, Live, and Reason and they all launch fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like an issue with one of the plugins. Tracktion and Cubase (as far as I know) both do some kind of opening process with each plugin on startup to see what they are and what they do.
I recommend you remove most of them and then put them back one by one to see which one is problematic. A pain, I know, but it's information worth knowing.

Thanks for the tip. I removed all the VST pluggins and added them back one at a time. The culprit ended up being my Waves pluggins. Traction doesn't like them. SampleTank2 and all my NI pluggins loaded fine. Thanks again!

That's what surprises me. I have the latest version 5 of the Renaissance Maxx Bundle. Who knew?
