Vojtech please consider doing something to the two bars (Bands and Automatic Equalizer) in the bottom of MAutoDynamicEq. I never use those and it would be great to just have a bigger display of the plugin without these. I think they should be turned into one bar that is thinner. They do take up quite a lot of screen space.

You'd still need space for one row to hold those collapsed bars, even if they were half width. So not much would be gained.

Oh OK, then, let's stack the Meter Collapse buttons too

-- no (ugly) space-taking empty space,
-- dynamic adjustment of the meter panel width,
-- highlighted buttons show instantly which meters are visible,
-- slightly taller meters (no collapse buttons below them).
-- the second column of buttons is similar in appearance to those in the time-graph view.
This could be a challenge to implement, but if anyone can ...

Very nice darkstar, imo no accordion element at all, also not for "bands" and automatic equalizer, what a sad waste of space, could be all equalizer view.

Thank you. But for the 2 bars at the bottom of MAutoDynamicEq you can, depending on your screen size, just drag the GUI taller.

If both could be turned into one bar half the size it would only take up a quarter of the current space which would be pretty good.
But yes, removing both bars completely would be even better.

Why not make all of these options part of a right-click contextual menu ?

...mmmmm...well, not "obvious" to new/first-time/trial users and adds an extra click to us old folks...but I'm all down with using the real estate more efficiently.../s~

Hey folks, so:
Collapsing mutliple panels into a single column - done! It was quite a nightmare in such a elaborate system, but I think it is working well now. Will be there in 13.00b
Soarer: Thank you! As for the 2 panels in MAutoDynamicEQ I'm afraid I don't see a way to do that, sorry. I cannot put them next to each other, because they wouldn't fit... Yeah... well... too many features
. Fortunately it's just a few pixels, but I get the point.
MrD: Hehe I actually hate how FabFilter looks
(and their plugins are like 1000x simpler, so...). Anyways you hate popups, I love them (and many others). A so it's a bit of a personal thingy. Anyways hopefully we are continuously improving stuff and at one point even you will be satistified! It may take a few decades though
Mevla: Hehe, you'd be surprised that half of the Apple users still don't know how to use a right mouse button
, so context menues are really just a last resort.

Great but...
I meant to gather both the collapsed panels into one (thinner) panel just like what Dark Star illustrated above with the other panels and then have them fold out into their full respective user interfaces, if possible.
Still hope to see some solution to this since it seems like quite a waste of space when these panels/features are not necessary for normal EQing purposes.

For normal EQ purposes why not have a pop-up option for the graph area, something like this would pop-up (obviously this should be still resizable):Soarer wrote: Wed Mar 20, 2019 7:41 pm ...Still hope to see some solution to this since it seems like quite a waste of space when these panels/features are not necessary for normal EQing purposes.

While the EQ or whatever is used in this pop-up mode the rest of the plugin should disappear from the screen. Also you would need a "pop-back to normal" button on this "floating" eq/analysis screen which would take you back to the normal GUI of the plugin.
Obviously it would need some considerations exactly what functions should be on this pop-up area.

What? No! That sounds like a really strange idea. You want the current analyzer area and the EQ points as a pop up option? But that's pretty much the whole plugin! No thanks.

I'm afraid I just don't see a reasonable solution. Sure there could be some complex solution with rearranging panels, but that would be strange for the users and really difficult for implement. And all for like 25 pixels, not a good idea I'm afraid. Right now it wastes these 25 pixels (where most plugins on the market waste 75% of their size haha
) and it's easy to understand and use even for beginners, I'd like to keep it that way really.
