Hello, is the Novation Launchkey 49 compatible as a control for the Waveform 9 DAW? If so, how do I set it up? I currently use it as a keyboard controller for BioTek and other synths, but would like the ability to control the DAW if possible.

Does the launchkey support automap?
*Edit, I looked it up and it doesn't. I asked because I was familiar with automap. Sorry, I don't have any experience with the launchkey.

I have a Launchkey 49 that I use as a control surface, but I had to set it up manually. You need to go to control surfaces in the Settings tab in WF and create a custom control surface, then map the buttons on the controller to the functions you want to control by clicking "Edit Control Mapping."
