My Feedback

Music - 8.5
Instruments - 9.5
Performance - 9.5
Mix - 10

Overall - 9.375

Comments: Yay, another Layzer track to listen to. As soon as I heard the bass Oberheim screamed out in my head. Okay, so the OBXD is a damn good Oberheim emulation. Anyway, typical Layzer goodness.

That kind of heavy synth bass reminded me of some early Eurythmics stuff, e.g. Jennifer. I've got Obxd but not dived into it. I think I had issues loading the presets in Reaper but eventually got some in there. Whats the bass preset you used called ?
Liked it by the way, I always seem to listen to your stuff all the way through, - I'm never sure whats going to happen next.

It was a pleasure. Thank you. :)

way back when i was designing the gui for it, Frantz asked me if i had
tried using it for bass in unison mode. i was using Charlatan and Ekektro
at the time exclusively for analog basses. so that seed came back
and took root for this song. it does not have the filter bite of
elektro but has its own different, liquid smooth low end (imo). :phones:

love dave stewart. never heard that jennifer tune, but yeah similar
bass. its a pretty basic 16th bassline. but then i switch mine up some.

the bass started out as preset #36 Fat Moogy Bazz from the Kujashi bank.
but i tweaked it quite a bit.

and yeah, in music... little surprises
keeps the interest, just ask a woman

Layzer I really like it but don't you think it would sound better with a $500 pan flute sample? :hihi:

Aha but for real, loved it. I really thought those vocal shots worked really well too.

Also Layzer it would be cool to me if you put liike 10 of your best songs together. Got someone to master them and out out an album. I would get it. What I did last time is went on an audophile forum and asked for mastering advice. Then someone volunteered to master it for me. Turned out the guy worked as a mastering engineer for decades. So worked out great and he did it for free. I think it is almost always best to get a third party for mastering. You know, fresh ears and perspective.

I enjoyed the listen. As others say, nice sound overall. Not to complicated with enough highlights to keep me in there. I particularly enjoyed all the swirly airy sounds. However, I feel bad when robots feel bad so points are taken away.
