I wanted to use the free version to simply mix my 4-track recordings (Zoom) of my gal's bar band, and I inadvertently triggered the "demo version" periodic sonic wash sounds by using a 32 bit mix setting (I have extremely limited audio mixing experience, forgive any jargon errors). The web page that popped up suggested that it will revert to "free mode" after some period of time of not using a triggering feature, and it's been the better part of a day now and it's still happening. Anyone know how to reset it short of a full uninstall?
Many thanks

If you're using Tracktion 7, you can just request a free permanent license. If you've added one of the DAW essentials plugins to the mix, it might be one of those generating the wash of sound, rather than Tracktion itself. Have a check of which plugins you have in the edit, or easier than that, check whether it still does it in a new empty edit. If it does, it's not the plugins.
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"
