Paste to specific position in midi editor?

Currently, it seems that copy/paste in midi editor pastes to the next bar rather than to cursor position. Making multiple copies of groups of notes usually requires you to scroll over or zoom out, move one group of copies over, then do the next group of copies... it's incredibly tedious. Most other DAWs and editors allow pasting to a particular position, which greatly speeds this up. Does Waveform's midi editor really not have that?

Even worse... there seems to be no way to paste midi from one midi clip into another using midi editor, other than using track view to copy the whole midi clip and basically splice it into another midi clip using split, paste, and merge?

The notes will be pasted at the playback cursor position in the selected track. There has to be a clip at that position, for instance an empty clip.
A quicker way to copy notes inside the same clip is to select them and then drag while holding the ctrl key. Note: you first have to hold down the ctrl key and then do the drag.
