CME XKey 25 not working in Bitwig under Linux

Hej there,

since a few months i am using Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon on a laptop. Bitwig with Jack runs very stable, no problems so far. The only two Midi-Controllers I use is a Nanokontrol 2 and a CME XKey 25.
Everything worked as it should but about a week ago the Xkey stopped working. It is recognized by Bitwig (I also tried it under LMMS) but no input.
Maybe it really is just not working anymore and is simply damaged. But I wanted to ask if anyone here has another idea? Maybe it has to do with drivers and some update did change something? I am pretty much a noob so any help would be nice...if not my question would be what other small 25 key midikeyboard you could recommend for Bitwig under Linux...maybe the Korg Microkey 25?
