I'm using T6, and monitoring audio level of my individual tracks through a 3rd party VU meter plugin. The VU meter is loaded next to the master fader in the right hand corner of the screen. This works fine. When I lower the fader volume for a track, this is reflected in a lower volume reading in the VU meter.
But....When I lower the master volume fader ( the one in the lower right hand
corner or the screen) the volume level gets lower in my monitors, but the reading on
the VU meter does not change. Makes no difference whether I'm monitoring one
track or the whole mix. I'm able to see the whole mix through the VU meter, just not
able to see any volume changes I make when I adjust the master fader.
Please advise. Thanks.

The master fader comes after the master fx, so your VU meter shows the audio before it's adjusted by the master fader. If you set the master fader to 0, it will be the same as what your VU meter shows.

But.... what I would like to do is raise or lower the level of the full mix with
the master fader, viewing the level changes through the VU meter plugin.
Is that possible? Thanks.

Put another volume fader before the VU meter on the master bus, and tweak that one
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"
