Just out of curiosity, wouldn’t the easiest way to share panel mappings be just to share a preset which can then be saved as default mapping? Maybe I’m missing something.

Mapping is a tedious task for me, but mapped parameters will be more easy controlling from Bitwig modulator(and maybe The Grid too!)
I thought how use the mapped parameters is different by user needs. However, it will easy to remap in Perform by user wants.
I did mapped parameters to lot of Plugins for me, because I use a multi-touch laptop.
Many plug-ins are not support multi-touch, but all paramaters mapped to Bitwig Device Pages can be control with touch.
However, if there is anyone feels weird my sharing,I'm stop sharing.
My English is not good. Thanks for read.

We've been sharing Device panels not preset panels so you don't have to think about loading a specific preset each time, you just load the device and this way any plugin works exactly like a native device in terms of mappings. Also this way means you can drag any preset from the browser and it will still be automapped. If it was possible to convert preset panels into device panels that might be an easier way to share them though but afaik I can't see a way to do that. This way works and once you have them imported you can just forget about them unless you want to customise the panel further, which is very easy to do.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 1:05 am Just out of curiosity, wouldn’t the easiest way to share panel mappings be just to share a preset which can then be saved as default mapping? Oh ok, for some reason I thought it was possible to save the current presets panel mapping as default, not sure why I thought that.aMUSEd wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 7:44 amWe've been sharing Device panels not preset panels so you don't have to think about loading a specific preset each time, you just load the device and this way any plugin works exactly like a native device in terms of mappings. I think possibly you can with native devices but then it wouldn't apply this mapping if you wanted to drag a different preset from the browser.

Unlike the other NI Instruments, Massive X doesn't seem (so far) to have a default device map in Bitwig so I made one - added it to the Dropbox in first post

Updated the Hive device map to Hive 2 - this is a draft, so far I have added the wavetable OSCs and XYs and improved the layout a little but there are some things like the new functions that I think probably should not be mapped for realtime modulation with knobs as they are really for internal modulation. However there may be a few new params I could still add so if you spot something missing let me know - there's a lot there!

btw I have left the Hive 1 template in the repository for anyone mad enough not to have upgraded yet
However be aware, as with the plugin itself, the actual device maps have the same filename so if you do add the Hive 2 one it will overwrite the Hive 1 one.
