There's nothing specifically saying it's not though.

Hi Assaf and welcome to KVR!
Bit off-topic, but I own Gatekeeper and was wondering how will I know if an update for it is available? And why on Earth the thing always scans for presets for a while each time I insert it on a track?

would you care to elaborate on what do you mean by an "abrupt tail"? words can be rather ambiguous when describing sound.DJErmac wrote: Fri Mar 29, 2019 10:14 pm Only the tail is quite abrupt, which won't be a bad point for all musical genres.

TBH it's quite unambiguous. Perhaps it's a translation issue?

To check for an update, just click the Polyverse logo, and there you will have a button to check for upgrades.
The reason gatekeeper takes time to load presets is the shear amount of them! loading over 400 presets that contain some very elaborate envelopes can take time (lots of data!). We preferred to do that on a low priority background thread so it doesn't occupy your CPU while loading the plug-in.
This happens only in the first instance you add to your project.

When I compared Comet with other reverbs, I had the feeling that Comet's end cuts out earlier, like there's some noise gate on it. It makes it sound more "beefy" imo, more compact actually.

ah. i guess you mean low decay and diffusion values combined perhaps with high size value. it will sound kinda gated then, trueDJErmac wrote: Sat Mar 30, 2019 8:44 pm When I compared Comet with other reverbs, I had the feeling that Comet's end cuts out earlier, like there's some noise gate on it. So far it has been great, no issues. I was using it in Ableton Live 10.17 beta on PC. I haven’t tried it in Cubase or Studio One yet but will do so next week. I don’t judge whether it’s ‘worth’ X amount of $$ or not. I decide if I have a use for it, can I think of a specific use for it (ie not can I use reverb per se, but can it do this or that effect l) and finally, how quick can I use it to get where I want to go. For me it’s a great reverb that does things with my audio that I like.

How has the beta-version been on your system so far ? stable ? no issues ?
Are you on Mac or PC , any details ?
I might just wait for the official version, rather than use a beta-version, but the beta-version's lower price is tempting.
Thanks.

Bought it, mainly for the glide function, turns out it’s a great regular reverb too, gui for me is great and intuitive. As far as beta stability haven’t encountered any issues so far and have had in in my 2 latest tracks and working around 4hrs each track live 10.1 on OS X 10.13.6. Glide is outstanding and the sound/musical tone it can achieve is great. All around great purchase and the most impressive thing is cpu is a dream compared to some of my other verb plug ins

I'm trying Comet demo.
I think Comet is not versatile Reverb.
But really dramatic lush Reverb !!
and easy to use.
