Q: Render selected parts to new sample

When I click on a midi/vst part and "render selected parts to new sample", where is the created sample/audio file saved? I know I can open the sampler, choose the sample and manually save it as a new file, but I'm wondering where it is saved automatically.

It's not automatically saved, it's rendered as a sample in RAM. If you want to save it, you can use that sample's context menu -> Save As...
