Will any U-he plugin or signal chain Vocod?

My current go to is the Bitwig Vocoder preset, which is a device built out of Bitwig components.

It got me thinking, is there is vocoder somewhere in the U-he collection? Can any of them accept a signal that could be used for the modulation signal? I think Zebrify can do most of what needs to be done.

I am going to try Bitwig devices where I come up short, and see how that looks too. I am using Diva and Zebra as carrier signals already.

Thanks.

I'm interested in this too. I posted a similar question here: viewtopic.php?p=7352062#p7352062
At a guess though, it could be vocoding is a boring subject around here. I dunno.

I do have some ideas though. My latest thought--and I need to experiment--is to use the Shape module in Zebrify to access even and odd harmonics (of the carrier and or modulator). I'll take a crack at this later tonight.

woot!

Well, I attempted a couple things.

First, I isolated the even and odd harmonics best I could with Shape (alternately VCF, Shape/VCF), then I setup two oscillators; OCS1 modulated by the EnvFol1 while the other modulated by Essness (alternately Transient, plus Transient modulating yet a third OCS). Also XMF to cross modulate the vocals signals with their respective OCS.

Second experiment, I set an LFO (alternately an MSEG) to cycle through frequencies of the carrier and modulator (rapidly), in essence trying to multiply the work of the envelope follower.

Third, I created multiple instances of Zebrify and split up the spectrum (6 instances) and approached like a traditional vocoder.

The first two experiments sounded interesting with plenty of artifacts, but were hardly traditional. The first experiment I can't even be sure I did it properly. The third experiment was predictable and sounded decent, but obviously convoluted and heavy.

If Zebrify had more envelope followers, or a dedicated vocode module ... pants would catch on fire.
