Except for their "one newsletter per day" marketing, i don't have an issue with iZotope. It also seems like the prices for the EA plugins have remained the same.

I think Izotope creates a lot of good sounding and highly creative effects, and their UIs are superb. So for me, it is just a plus if they acquire high quality gear.

I'll be honest, if they were to update the GUI's on some of these, I wouldn't be mad. They also had a lot of overlap in their product line with new products being built on top of old ones. Would be nice to see more traditional upgrades/names instead. Anyway, I hope Michael got a good deal in this and continues to put out more great work.

Not sure I would like it been replaced by Izotope's updates policy that sometimes look like a subscription plan though.
