Plugin Alliance didnt acquire Dimitry Sches, PA are their distributor. NI didnt acquire U-he, they did a one-off sale on a subset of u-he products.
You say they are being outdone. Where is your evidence? Do you have sales figures to back up these claims. I happen to know a lot of industry professionals who use Waves plugins. I use Waves plugins.Dasheesh wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2019 4:29 pm if waves wants to compete they are going to have to do something. they are getting out done by these vst conglomerate partnerships. they are going to have modernize, while still keeping with a good fit. spectrasonics would be a good fit.
Um... no?
Where is your proof? Where are the figures? Where are the marketing strategies laid out by each of these companies that show that they believe to be in competition with each other and are actually doing something about it?Dasheesh wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2019 4:38 pm they are going head to head with plugin A. right now they are both offering ssl E for example. that's not by accident. all the other guys have made big moves. the vst world is changing right now. it's consolidating. pretty obvious there is heavy comparison happening. only the innovative are going to survive.
