Question about current Exponential Audio deal at iZotope

Is this sale a good one for a foreseeable future, or can we expect something better later this year or so? (like black Friday)

The Crossgrade from iZotope is actually a temporary product. After this sale is over, it will go away. I'm sure there will be other sales now that they are an iZotope company but I doubt any will be very much better than the Crossgrade from iZotope.

Well... if they told us, then sales would be kind of pointless, wouldn't they?

In recent years, EA had a Summer Sale around mid-June with a lower discount than they ran for Black Friday. iZotope does steep discounts on bundles/upgrades from time to time.

Bought it very early on. Nice piece of software and certainly worth 49$, but gets surprisingly little use on my machine. I guess it depends a bit on how you set up your production workflow.

How legit are Sonex Audio? There’s hardly any info on the about page. It’s costs a lot of money to do quality recordings of instruments and orchestras.

I have loved using Atlas to quickly audition drum sounds until I find what I like. I haven't actually used it directly in a song yet though.

Atlas lets you throw an entire disk of samples at it without bothering to categorize them, and then randomize drum kits, and you will (mostly) get what you ask for (kicks in the kick slot, snares in the snare slot, perc in the perc slot(s), e.g.) It does more than this, of course, but that's imho its best feature.

if that's something that you find useful, it's magic. If it doesn't fit the way you work (e.g. you usually custom-design exactly the drums you want) then it might not be useful, but as a mostly casual musician, it's at least loads of fun and you might find some samples in your collection you forgot about/never listened to.
