DIVA distorts when used in Cubase with RAMP Tempo Change

I use DIVA in Cubase in a song where the tempo accelerates in what in Cubase terms is a "ramp". This feature is known to cause trouble in VI's that use tempo sync, because the plug-in has to recalculate the dependable parameters every time the tempo changes, which it is doing all the time, because it's a "ramp". The result is that DIVA causes crackles and noise. Even when I freeze or render the track.
Can I somewhere turn OFF this tempo sync?

In my experience/experiments (not sure if I did try Diva, but I am sure I did Zebra among lots of others from other developers) turning off tempo based efx, especially delays, helped.
