I'm sure it'll come out at some point, when though I have absolutely no idea. I'll get exited when it's officially out, in the mean time for me it doesn't exist and I don't wait for it nor care. So much other great things to do indeed than anxiously wait of a plugin.Ed A. wrote: Tue Apr 09, 2019 4:37 pm I've given up on them a while ago. There are many other cool things out there to use that aren't vaporware.
I have to agree that hyping people for more than 12 months is probably not the best way to do business and maintain excitement. I rather see a silent developer hitting hard with a huge unexpected surprise you didn't see coming instead. Same goes for the famous non-existent Valhalla delay plugin that we keep hearing 'it's coming out soon!' since more than a year, it's getting pretty ridiculous.

Randy hardly hyped it, its mentioned on his site, and those who read it are hyped...
I‘d prefer he takes all the time it needs to make it solid...

I wouldn't call it hype either, based on Randy's explanation in the Madrona forum. From last December-
"Hey there, Sumu is moving a lot more slowly than planned. It's a little ambitious and I probably shouldn't have announced it so soon, so I'm truly sorry if the suspense is killing you! I'm excited to put out more info and audio samples but it's just not ready yet."

Quite a nice gentleman post from him I must say regarding the delays, thanks for the heads up.randomelement2` wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 1:59 pm I wouldn't call it hype either, based on Randy's explanation in the Madrona forum. From last December-

No, it was hyped. I received a promotional email from them hyping it almost a year and a half ago. They shouldn’t do that unless they actually have a product to sell. They should have done what Arturia did with Pigments, no hype until it’s just about to be released.Tj Shredder wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 7:23 am Randy hardly hyped it, its mentioned on his site, and those who read it are hyped...![]()

Yes, because all good people are perfect and you have never been anything but perfect yourself.Ed A. wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 2:57 pmNo, it was hyped. I mean that's not as bad when you consider Wusik is taking pre-orders for a plugin that he openly said hasn't even started coding yet. LOL.

Also, Native Instruments has already taken money for a synth, Massive X, which keeps getting pushed back. So an email announcing future plans and releases is normal imo.

More justification for why I no longer use NI software.SoundPorn wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 5:35 pm Also, Native Instruments has already taken money for a synth, Massive X, which keeps getting pushed back.

Did they? I don't remember seeing any pre-orders for it when it was announced (I still can't!)SoundPorn wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 5:35 pm Also, Native Instruments has already taken money for a synth, Massive X

I'm talking about how they sold Komplete 12 on the back of Massive X promising a February release.

Cause you are telling people what they SHOULD do... when you know nothing about the company or why it was delayed... you know zero, yet you talk like you know what is going on.Ed A. wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 5:12 pm Yeah, that’s it.I don’t know what that response has to do at all with what I said.
